Citywest Network is the missions arm of Citywest. We have a vision to influence our local community, city, nation and the ends of the earth. In 2007 we will be supporting the following missions and initiatives.
Angel Tree – This project is designed to reach the innocent victims of crime who are often forgotten … children of prisoners. Angel Tree touches these children with the love of Christ at Christmas by providing them with special Christmas Gifts.
Acts of Kindness – providing practical help such as house cleaning, gardening, meals, home & hospital visits, grocery & Christmas hampers.
Religious Education – taking the love of Jesus to children & youth in our local primary & high schools.
Link to Mercy Ministries Website Mercy Ministries Australia – helping to raise the profile and much needed funds for Mercy Ministries through the Mercy Ministries Walk and other organized fundraisers.
AOG World Relief – Many of these projects combine humanitarian relief with an opportunity to plant churches in the communities concerned.
Japan – We support Ps Rod & Viv Plummer who pastor a dynamic church in Japan. Together we will continue to see them reach out to the young people of Japan, offering them hope for a future.
China – supporting AOG World Missionaries – Dave & Robyn Maxwell.
Compassion Australia Compassion – supporting Compassion children in third world countries and other special projects.
